A couple of weeks back, just as lockdown lifted, I met with life coach Jo Renshaw to create a series of portraits for the launch of her new business.
I've known Jo for a few years, and have previously worked with her back in her former life as a Photography Producer, so it was amazing to re-connect with different hats on and create these images together.
Jo is lucky to live in a flat with beautiful light (and an amazing view) so we chose to shoot some of the images at her home, and then nip out to the beautiful public gardens to give her a great variety of different types of shots to use across her website, newsletters and social media.
I'm a huge lover of working with natural light where possible - many people I work with tell me they're not naturally comfortable in front of the camera, so flashing lights can be a bit daunting.
We were lucky to have a beautiful bright day with flat light (which is great for portraits) and also picked up all the amazing textures of the location beautifully.
